Welcome to the Universal Academy of Florida (UAF), a distinguished Private PreK-12th Islamic School located in the heart of Tampa, FL. With over 830 enrolled students, we've become one of the fastest-growing private schools in the area, proudly ranked among the top 15 best Islamic private schools in the country and top 6 private K-12 schools in Tampa Bay!

Our History

UAF was founded on August 28th, 1992, as a dream to provide exceptional education in line with Islamic values. In the past year alone, we welcomed over 95 students from across the nation to join our vibrant school community.

    Spanning over 8.5 acres, our campus boasts five buildings, including a gymnasium and state-of-the-art STEM, Chemistry, and Biology labs.

    UAF's QAIS department is highly acclaimed, offering over 30 AP and Honors classes. We also provide dual enrollment opportunities through USF.

    Our school offers a wide range of sports for both boys and girls, with notable achievements such as reaching district finals and regionals.

UAF received its initial accreditation in 1997 and consistently renews its accreditation by esteemed bodies like FCIS (Florida Council of Independent Schools), Cognia, CISNA (Council of Islamic Schools of North America), and FKC (Florida Kindergarten Council).

Founded in 1992, UAF is a private Islamic school for boys and girls in Daycare to Grade 12. Combining academic excellence while promoting Islamic understand and practices. UAF aims to produce bright students who are conscious of Allah and who maintain Islamic character and high academic standards.
